ChinaGo ("we", "us") helps international students apply to universities and scholarships in China. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have.
1. What data we collect - Contact details: name, email, WhatsApp number, Telegram username. - Personal details: date of birth, citizenship, country of residence. - Education details: education level, grades, language levels, exam results, previous applications. - Documents you upload: diploma, transcript of grades, passport main page. - Records of your agreement to our policies (date, time, IP address). - Basic website usage data (only if you accept cookies).
2. Why we use your data Only to check your eligibility, prepare and submit applications on your behalf, contact you about your application, process payments and refunds, and keep records of our agreement with you. We never sell your data.
3. Who we share your data with Only with the Chinese universities and scholarship bodies you apply to (for example the China Scholarship Council), with trusted service providers that host our website, send our emails and process payments, and with your bank or payment provider if there is a payment dispute.
4. How long we keep your data 2 years after our last contact with you, then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it earlier, except records we must keep for payments, refunds or disputes.
